Data Aided Design’s Open Call for Projects
In an effort to engage our community of architects, technologists, design professionals, and more our editorial team invites our readers to submit essays, projects, and editorial writing that satisfy the following topics below. Our open calls are ongoing with new topics released each quarter.
#1 Call for Projects: Inclusive Design
Data Aided Design seeks projects that focus on inclusive design initiatives. As architects and designers from various disciplines continue to reshape and redefine what inclusive design means, how does data aid or hinder this initiative?
#2 Call for Projects: 3D Fabrication and Infrastructure
Data Aided Design seeks projects that highlight the use of 3D fabrication and its application within infrastructure. From benches to bridges the possibilities of 3D fabrication and its feasibility within cities is growing. We seek articles that showcase projects, both proven and speculative.
#3 Call for Projects: Designing for the post-human world
Data Aided Design seeks projects that explore the possibilities of design for the post-human world. We ask for writing that discusses data’s growing role in speculative architecture. Submissions can focus on projects or op-eds.
